About the Role

The senior engineer will manage project teams and clients in MEP consulting, particularly for healthcare projects, and may serve as Engineer of Record or project manager. Responsibilities include leading teams to deliver cost‑effective solutions, preparing cost proposals and contracts, responding to RFPs/RFQs, collaborating across departments and subconsultants, supervising and mentoring junior staff, and ensuring compliance with all applicable codes while maintaining quality control of designs. • Lead project teams delivering high‑quality, cost‑effective MEP solutions for healthcare projects • Prepare cost proposals, administer contracts, and manage service agreements • Write responses to RFPs and RFQs for various clients and marketing opportunities • Collaborate with departments, disciplines, and subconsultants to efficiently plan resources • Supervise and mentor junior staff to ensure project execution meets industry standards • Manage full project lifecycle from conceptual design through completion • Conduct quality control reviews of MEP system designs, calculations, and drawings • Conduct electrical system studies such as short‑circuit analysis, over‑current coordination, and Arc Flash Hazard analysis (electrical only)

The role requires a motivated professional with over 10 years of experience who will lead junior staff and oversee MEP design from concept through construction documents and administration, and a Professional Engineer (PE) license is mandatory. Candidates must have 10+ years of MEP design experience in healthcare, strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, and proficiency with Revit BIM, AutoCAD, SKM, ETAP, and Easypower. Mastery of national and local building codes such as NEC, State Energy Codes, NFPA, and FGI is required, along with excellent leadership, communication, and program‑management skills. A PE license is required, and electrical engineers should have experience with system studies like short‑circuit analysis and Arc Flash Hazard assessments. • 10+ years of MEP design experience in healthcare within an engineering consulting environment • Proficiency with Revit BIM, AutoCAD, SKM, ETAP, and Easypower design software • In‑depth knowledge of NEC, State Energy Codes, NFPA guidelines, and FGI standards • Maintain a Professional Engineer (PE) license and strong program‑management experience
