About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for designing a variety of different steel racking systems, including Tuberacks, Drive‑In racks, Cantilever racks, Pushback, and Pallet Flow racks. Your duties will include developing safe and economical steel racking systems, utilizing industry software for structural analysis, collaborating with project managers and the design department, reviewing structural drawings for accuracy, and embracing continuous learning. • Design safe and economical steel racking systems (Tuberacks, Drive‑In, Cantilever, Pushback, Pallet Flow) meeting project requirements and industry codes. • Perform structural analysis using industry software for frames, beams, bracing, mezzanines, and platforms. • Collaborate with project managers, design department, and other team members to communicate engineering requirements and ensure seamless execution. • Review and verify structural drawings for accuracy.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering from an ABET‑accredited school, successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering exam prior to hire date, and proficiency in verbal and written English. Preferred qualifications include an educational focus on structural engineering, basic knowledge of building construction, understanding of current building codes and standard industry practices, and experience with steel rack supported structures. • Hold a B.S. in Civil or Architectural Engineering from an ABET‑accredited institution. • Pass the Fundamentals of Engineering exam before hire. • Demonstrate proficient verbal and written English communication. • Possess knowledge of structural engineering, building construction, current codes, and experience with steel rack‑supported structures (preferred).
