About the Role

Drivers operate heavy‑duty trucks equipped with front, side, or rear‑end lift attachments to transport waste or recyclable materials to disposal, transfer, or recycle facilities. They handle containers weighing over 1,000 lb, navigate high‑traffic roads, alleys, and driveways, and perform skilled backing maneuvers in residential, commercial, and roll‑off routes. • Operate vehicles in compliance with WM safety policies, OSHA, DOT regulations, and all applicable laws. • Perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections and complete DVIR reports. • Report unsafe conditions, incidents, accidents, and service interruptions to the Operations Manager or Dispatch. • Attend all required training programs, briefings, and meetings. • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to improve route efficiency and share best practices. • Communicate customer requests, fully empty receptacles, and leave sites clean and debris‑free. • Follow assigned routes, complete end‑of‑day documentation, and assist other drivers as needed.
