SUE Technician III
Perform SUE field work using EM, GPR, vacuum excavation, and supervise crew.

About the Role
• Collaborate with team to read utility records, as‑built drawings and highway plans. • Designate existing utilities using electromagnetic locators and ground‑penetrating radar. • Operate and drive a vacuum‑excavation truck to perform test holes. • Coordinate traffic management and “One‑Call” ticket processes. • Supervise field crew, train junior members, and liaise with utility companies and clients. • Communicate project needs with Project Managers and Discipline Leads. • Perform survey coordination and ensure accurate utility mapping.

What You Bring
• Minimum 5 years experience with electromagnetic and geophysical utility locating. • Experience operating vacuum‑excavation equipment (preferred). • Strong computer and software learning ability. • Excellent communication and teamwork skills. • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather, walk several miles and lift up to 80 lb. • Clean driving record and proficient vehicle operation. • Flexible to travel, overtime, nights/weekends and prioritize safety. • Proficient in English reading, writing and verbal communication.

The position offers an hourly rate of $33.00 to $44.00, dependent on qualifications, and requires a pre‑employment drug screen along with participation in an ongoing random drug‑and‑alcohol testing program.
