About the Role
The Special Operations Community Resource Coordinator (CRC) for the National Capital Region will oversee and evaluate programs that enhance the resilience of service members and their families, including peer‑support networks, data collection, and liaison duties. • Establish, maintain, and report on peer counseling networks for service members and spouses. • Conduct or support family orientation, outreach, and referral services. • Assist with pre‑ and post‑deployment preparation, reintegration, and decompression activities. • Facilitate family relational enhancement programs. • Support unit‑level career transition programs for military personnel and spouses. • Implement social/family and psychological programs, including suicide prevention and cognitive agility training. • Promote awareness of installation and community behavioral health and resiliency resources. • Develop standard operating procedures and service provision protocols. • Serve as the commander’s liaison for community and family support matters. • Communicate on behalf of the command using various media and social platforms. • Identify program needs, collect evaluation data, and develop needs‑based programming for specific demographics. • Maintain regular and acceptable attendance; complete all required training.

What You Bring
The position requires U.S. citizenship, the ability to obtain a DoD Secret or Top Secret clearance, a bachelor’s degree in education, human/social services or a related field (or four years of relevant experience), and willingness to undergo specialized training in peer support and suicide prevention. The CRC must comply with KBR’s safety, health, environmental, and quality assurance policies, maintain regular attendance, complete required training, and support the company’s ESG principles and team‑of‑teams philosophy. • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD Secret or Top Secret clearance. • Bachelor’s degree in education, human/social services, or related field, or four years of relevant experience. • Willingness to receive specialized training in peer support counseling, community resources, referrals, and suicide prevention. • Current knowledge of best practices in peer support, suicide prevention, and DoD/Service resources. • Compliance with safety, health, environmental, and quality assurance policies. • Prior military and/or Special Operations Forces experience highly desired.
