About the Role

The Project Engineer will assist in monitoring design and construction progress, facilitating technical discussions, managing documentation, and ensuring alignment across engineering, construction, and stakeholder groups. • Facilitate communication among the Owner, Design Joint Venture, construction managers, and contractors. • Coordinate collaboration between construction management, engineering coordinators, and design oversight teams. • Prepare and release construction drawings for contractor distribution. • Track and manage RFIs, submittals, design clarifications, and technical queries. • Review and coordinate RFI and submittal responses per contract provisions. • Consolidate design review comments and ensure timely resolution with construction teams. • Monitor approved design change notices and update drawings accordingly. • Participate in coordination meetings, documenting minutes, action items, and follow‑up summaries. • Maintain engineering logs, schedules, and dashboards to monitor progress and issues. • Analyze design changes, preparing documentation for cost and schedule impact assessments. • Coordinate additional review workflows when design impacts are identified. • Support the submittal process through review, response, and return steps. • Produce monthly design oversight progress reports.

What You Bring

A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field and four years of relevant experience are required; familiarity with CMAR, Design‑Build, and P3 delivery methods is preferred. The position is hybrid, requiring three days on‑site per week in Baltimore, with relocation options available; sponsorship for US employment authorization is not offered. • Proficient with Microsoft Office and SharePoint. • Demonstrated strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in fast‑paced environments.
