About the Role
The Construction Manager II leads subcontractor coordination, scheduling, and quality‑control activities for complex projects. Responsibilities include developing project and construction management plans, administering contract procedures, and performing value‑engineering and constructability reviews. The role also oversees budgeting, schedule control, document management, and safety compliance, while preparing progress reports and managing temporary facilities. This position requires interaction with owners, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders. • Coordinate subcontractors, schedule, and quality control. • Prepare Project Management and Construction Management Plans. • Develop and implement contract administration procedures (document, change, time, cost, quality, safety management). • Conduct procurement, constructability, and value engineering reviews. • Administer construction activities and monitor design progress relative to construction needs. • Coordinate local bidding and obtain field quotes. • Assist in procurement of purchase orders and subcontract packages. • Manage document control, submittals, shop drawings, and pay applications. • Prepare, issue, and negotiate change orders. • Review and analyze baseline and updated construction schedules. • Control project budget and schedule. • Manage quality assurance, inspection services, and ensure subcontractor safety compliance. • Prepare and update project schedules, pay requests, and progress reports. • Set up project site and temporary facilities.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Construction Science, or a related field and brings at least ten years of experience in construction planning and management. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction‑management software such as Procore, Prolog, Primavera, or Bluebeam is essential, as are strong people‑skills and the ability to interpret schedules. Preference is given to candidates with airfield experience, relevant certifications, and familiarity with estimating and collaboration tools. • Airfield experience. • Construction or design certifications. • Experience with estimating, scheduling, project management, and web‑based collaboration software. • Ability to interpret construction schedules. • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Construction Science or equivalent experience. • Minimum 10 years of construction planning and management experience covering contracts, document, time, cost, quality, change, and site safety. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software (e.g., Procore, Prolog, Primavera, Bluebeam). • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with owners, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders. • No sponsorship for US work authorization.
