About the Role

The role involves assisting with programming and commissioning on high‑profile, technically advanced projects while working daily with Johnson Controls FX systems and other platforms such as Tridium Niagara and Distech. As the in‑field expert, the technician troubleshoots and optimizes systems, validates hardware, conducts point‑to‑point checkouts, and commissions building automation systems with precision. Collaboration with an innovative team ensures installations match submittals and designs, and the technician also trains customers to maximize their building automation capabilities. • Operate Johnson Controls FX systems and integrate platforms like Tridium Niagara and Distech • Serve as the field expert for troubleshooting and system optimization • Validate hardware, perform point‑to‑point checkout, and commission BAS equipment • Diagnose and resolve complex controls, software, and communication issues • Coordinate with programming team to match installations to submittals and designs • Provide customer training on building automation system operation

What You Bring

Candidates should have at least two years of BAS on‑site technician or equivalent HVAC experience, preferably with Johnson Controls FX (Workbench, Supervisors, Controllers) and solid HVAC systems knowledge. Experience with Niagara N4 or other BAS platforms is a plus, and strong problem‑solving skills are essential.
