The Skilled Laborer/Groundman supports all phases of utility construction on telecom projects, performing manual tasks such as trench digging, unloading materials, and site preparation with hand tools. They transport heavy equipment, construct and maintain aerial and underground cable systems, and troubleshoot field issues, while learning to operate a variety of tools and equipment. Candidates must prioritize safety, consistently produce quality work, and enjoy hands-on problem solving. A valid Class A CDL with a clean record is required, along with a desire to learn telecom trades such as coax and fiber splicing and to contribute to the local community.
