About the Role
The role focuses on the prioritization, fulfillment, and quality assurance of time‑bound, ticket‑driven requests within the data center. Responsibilities include expediting, negotiating, troubleshooting, and handling smart‑hands tasks such as installation or de‑installation of cages, cabinets, cross‑connects, power, cable containment, custom orders, and network support. • Prioritize, fulfill, and QA time-sensitive ticket requests (e.g., cage installs, power, cross‑connects). • Read and implement installation plans from Visio drawings or spreadsheets. • Perform sophisticated fiber terminations and install/test cross‑connect circuits per SOPs. • Troubleshoot switched, multiplexed, or media‑converted circuits and collaborate with networking teams. • Maintain accurate cable management for coax, fiber, twisted‑pair, and intra‑building connections. • Document all work activities in detail and lead cage/infrastructure modification projects. • Complete required training promptly and support customer satisfaction through timely order execution.

What You Bring
• High school diploma with 1–2 years of relevant experience. • Strong curiosity and troubleshooting ability in a critical‑facility environment. • Mechanical or electrical proficiency with ability to lift up to 50 lb and perform physical tasks. • Flexible to work any shift, cover off‑schedule needs, and respond to emergencies (24/7 operation).

The targeted annual salary for this position in Montreal, Canada is CAD 46,600 – 69,800, reflecting the minimum and maximum range for new hires based on role, level, and location.
