About the Role

The engineer will prepare technical deliverables for conceptual and detailed design of power distribution systems, coordinate construction packages, and manage quality‑control reviews. They will mentor junior engineers, identify learning opportunities, and interact directly with clients during design reviews and stakeholder meetings while managing multiple tasks across projects. • Prepare technical deliverables for conceptual and detailed design of overhead and underground power distribution systems, including planning, lighting, grounding, and lightning protection. • Coordinate construction packages such as plan/profile drawings, structure assemblies, stringing charts, staking tables, and bills of material. • Assign tasks, guide junior team members, and conduct quality‑control reviews of work performed by EITs and designers. • Identify and implement learning opportunities for junior staff through job shadowing, project tasks, “show and tell,” lunch‑n‑learns, and knowledge sharing. • Perform quality‑control reviews of projects from other teams as needed. • Provide engineering input on design issues, conduct analyses to develop design options, and assist with cost estimates and specifications. • Attend client stakeholder meetings and lead design reviews. • Contribute to project man‑hour estimates and task schedules while managing multiple tasks across projects within schedule and budget constraints. • Conduct site visits during design, construction, and as‑built phases, including field reviews and construction observation. • Perform independent calculations for electrical clearances, lighting photometry, load, short‑circuit, over‑current coordination, and arc‑flash studies. • Collaborate on technical report writing.
