About the Role

As a Consulting Associate in Environmental Engineering, Geology, or Science, you will play a key role in investigating and restoring soil and groundwater systems for clients in Atlanta, Georgia. Your work will help communities and businesses achieve safer, cleaner environments. Key responsibilities include evaluating contamination extent, supporting risk assessments, and assessing remediation alternatives; conducting field investigations, sampling, and data collection; overseeing drilling, sampling, and subcontractor activities; designing and optimizing remediation systems; preparing work plans, cost estimates, schedules, and proposals; and compiling and analyzing environmental data using spreadsheets, databases, and GIS. You will also set up and calibrate groundwater flow models, deliver accurate technical reports and client presentations, ensure health and safety compliance, and collaborate with project teams to achieve client satisfaction and timely project delivery. • Evaluate contamination extent and support risk assessments • Conduct environmental field investigations, sampling, and data collection • Oversee drilling, sampling, and subcontractor activities • Design and optimize remediation systems using engineering techniques • Prepare work plans, cost estimates, schedules, and proposals • Compile and analyze environmental data with spreadsheets, databases, and GIS • Set up, calibrate, and document groundwater flow models • Produce accurate technical reports and client presentations • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and PPE protocols • Collaborate with project teams to achieve client satisfaction and timely delivery

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in geology, hydrogeology, environmental science, engineering, civil engineering, or a related discipline, along with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, sound judgment, and excellent written and verbal communication. Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office and database software, able to perform fieldwork, lift up to 30 lb, sit for extended periods, and hold a valid driver’s license. Medical clearance and appropriate PPE are mandatory, and the role does not offer immigration sponsorship. Preferred qualifications include the ability to obtain HAZWOPER certification, familiarity with ArcGIS and database software, experience preparing technical reports and presentations, and knowledge of remediation system design and optimization.
