About the Role
The Site Safety Manager will oversee contractor safety operations on NYCT station rehabilitation projects, conducting inspections, developing reports, assisting with health and safety procedures, providing training, and ensuring compliance with Building Code and OSHA requirements. The position requires flexibility to work day, night, and weekend shifts as needed, with typical hours of 7 am–3:30 pm. • Oversee contractor safety on NYCT station rehabilitation projects. • Conduct site safety inspections and submit detailed reports. • Develop and review health and safety procedures and programs. • Provide safety training and compliance assistance to project teams. • Ensure adherence to Building Code, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements. • Work flexible shifts, including day, night, and weekends as needed.

What You Bring
Applicants must have at least four years of project safety experience, specifically on NYC Transit projects, and hold CHST or CSP certification, OSHA 30, and other safety training. Knowledge of OSHA, NYC DOB, NYC DEP, DOT, and other local, state, and federal regulations is required, along with strong written and oral communication skills and reliable transportation. • Minimum 4 years of project safety experience, preferably on NYC Transit projects. • Hold CHST or CSP certification and OSHA 30 training. • Extensive knowledge of OSHA, NYC DOB, NYC DEP, DOT, and related regulations. • Strong written and oral communication skills with reliable transportation.
