About the Role
The HR Business Partner role in San Francisco works in‑office Monday‑Friday, partnering with functional leaders and HR stakeholders to drive highly engaged, high‑performing teams. The position supports the execution of HR initiatives, aligns people strategy with business objectives, and collaborates across HR centers of excellence and HRIS to optimize processes and structures. • Provide consultative, proactive HR support to employees and managers at various levels. • Coach managers to improve their effectiveness and development. • Address performance issues, counsel managers, and oversee corrective‑action documentation. • Participate in recurring HR processes such as bonus programs, promotions, performance reviews, and engagement surveys. • Co‑facilitate training on employee development and management topics. • Develop, recommend, and implement HR policies and procedures while evaluating change impact. • Partner with HR centers of excellence and the HRIS/Workday team to maintain HR structures and improve processes. • Analyze HR data to generate insights and recommendations; collaborate on organizational design and talent management. • Provide occasional onsite HR support for West Coast offices, requiring travel.

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. • Minimum 5 years of HR Generalist or HR Business Partner experience, including California leave administration. • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws, especially California regulations. • Proven ability to build trusting relationships with internal client groups and influence at all levels. • Excellent communication, confidentiality, and multi‑tasking skills in a dynamic environment. • Preferred experience with Workday and supporting a range of managerial and individual‑contributor roles.
