About the Role
The Installation Supervisor is accountable for profitable execution and delivery of installation services within a designated geography or specialty, acting as a technical lead and mentor to technicians. This role also serves as a technical resource on projects, adapting to business needs and customer demand. • Participates in managing the Installation P/L for a specific geography. • Oversees and ensures project level profitability. • Coordinates and plans installation projects, overseeing procurement of materials, permits, supplies; orchestrating schedule; and forecasting manpower requirements. • Ensures customer expectations are met. • Effectively resolves issues and problems. • Develops and maintains productive relationships with customers, general contractors, and subcontractors. • Interviews, selects, hires, and oversees onboarding of foremen and installation crews. • Manages performance and provides training, coaching, and feedback to apprentices, journeymen, and foremen. • Uses metrics to drive accountability and performance. • Ensures compliance with installation policies and procedures, including project tracking, safety, and time and attendance. • Ensures use of PPE and safe behavior, including safe driving, by all employees. • May oversee third‑party resources.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a high school diploma, GED, or trade program completion, with a college degree considered a plus. Required experience includes at least five years in commercial construction or a related field, two years in a supervisory or foreman role, and proven ability to manage P&L, lead diverse teams, and ensure safety and compliance. Strong communication, problem‑solving, and proficiency with standard business tools such as email, Word, Excel, and ERP software are also essential. • High school diploma, GED, or completion of a trade program or technical school. • College degree is a plus. • Five or more years of experience in commercial construction or a related industry. • Knowledge of construction principles, labor hour estimation, forecasting, and multidisciplinary coordination. • Two or more years of experience as a foreman or in another supervisory position. • Experience hiring and managing subcontractors preferred. • Strong leadership skills with experience managing a diverse, multi‑discipline workforce. • Proficient in coaching, training, developing, and building a team. • Skilled at managing time, delegating assignments, and ensuring results. • Proficient in understanding and managing P&L. • Able to manage multiple assignments, balance competing priorities, and multitask effectively. • Ability to solve problems and apply good judgment. • Excellent verbal, non‑verbal, written communication, and presentation skills. • Strong customer service skills with the ability to proactively address issues and build relationships. • Knowledge of jobsite safety and ability to enforce safe work practices and compliance. • Ability to follow company policies, procedures, and all applicable state and federal laws. • Proficiency with typical business tools such as email, Word, Excel, work order/dispatch software, and ERP systems.
