Transportation Planning & Traffic Engineering Intern

About the Role

In this role you will support technical staff on project‑related tasks within the Critical Infrastructure team. The position is full‑time (8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday) and based in the GTA, with reporting offices in Toronto, Markham or Oakville and the option to work remotely. You will be expected to work independently with minimal supervision. • Conduct technical research and analyze traffic data • Perform site visits for field observations • Prepare technical memos and write reports • Attend client meetings and create meeting summaries • Participate in consultation sessions and public meetings

What You Bring

• Full‑time civil engineering (or related) student • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) • Knowledge of AutoCAD (asset) • Experience with Synchro (asset) • Able to work independently with minimal supervision

The salary range for this position is $22.69 – $46.73 per hour.
