About the Role
A core expectation is staff development. The manager evaluates performance, provides coaching and training, and supports growth through safety, incident management, and operational training programs. Ongoing development strengthens individual capability and builds a high‑performing team that can meet routine and emergency demands, while ensuring staff understand updated procedures, safety expectations, and best practices. • Supervise day‑to‑day TMC and RA operations, ensuring consistent execution of SOPs. • Monitor and audit staff performance to meet safety and KPI targets. • Maintain work schedules and provide replacements for staff absences. • Manage fleet scheduling, inspections, and maintenance. • Oversee the TIM Training program and continuous staff training. • Participate in or lead after‑action reviews for severe incidents and other TIM activities. • Serve as Safety Lead, developing and updating the Road Management Safety Program. • Conduct safety audits using field ride‑alongs and system records. • Deliver corrective actions or disciplinary measures as needed. • Assist in preparing recurring and ad‑hoc reports or research. • Perform routine administrative tasks.

What You Bring

The TMC/RA Manager supports 24 × 7 × 365 operations, overseeing roadside and TMC personnel to ensure safe, efficient, and coordinated incident response across the E‑470 corridor. The role requires initiative, decisive judgment, and a commitment to continuous improvement in a dynamic, safety‑critical environment. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, with at least three years of experience in a Traffic Management Center, Emergency Dispatch Center, Incident Management, Roadside Assistance, or Safety Service Patrol, or five years of combined relevant experience. At least one year of supervisory or management experience and a minimum of two years of TMC experience are required. The role demands flexibility to work alternate schedules, be on call 24 hours a day, multitask real‑time activities, write reports and manuals, and hold a valid driver’s license with a clean record. • Achieve SHRP2 TIM Train‑the‑Trainer certification, National TIM Responder training, and NIMS 100, 200, 300, 700 courses.

For Colorado candidates, the expected salary range is $73,500–$92,000, with final compensation based on education, experience, skills, internal equity, and geographic location.
