About the Role
The Facility Services General Clerk supports the Project Manager, Chief Engineer, C&W corporate staff, customers, and vendors in daily scheduling, dispatching, reporting, and a variety of administrative and clerical functions. The role operates Monday through Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm, in a team‑oriented, safety‑conscious environment and follows direction from the Project Manager and Chief Engineer. Key duties include answering and routing phone calls, acting as the central contact for government and building occupants, and managing work orders and purchase orders through the government‑provided CMMS. Responsibilities also cover creating, closing, and tracking service calls, preventive‑maintenance orders, equipment inventory, and generating reports that meet contract requirements. The clerk provides administrative support to the Project Manager and other staff, prepares budget and financial updates in Word and Excel, maintains central business and personnel records, and oversees supply ordering, invoice and P‑card processing, and office equipment upkeep. Additional tasks involve producing weekly and monthly productivity and quality reports, tracking labor for payroll, and maintaining confidentiality of employee information. • Schedule and dispatch daily service requests using the CMMS. • Serve as primary contact for government and building occupants to receive service requests. • Manage work orders and purchase orders, tracking resolution of tenant issues. • Generate and distribute weekly, monthly, and on‑demand reports using Microsoft Office. • Process invoices, P‑cards, and support budget and financial updates. • Order and maintain inventory, supplies, and office equipment. • Provide administrative support to the Project Manager and other staff. • Maintain confidential employee and personnel records. • Ensure compliance with all safety policies and company procedures. • Foster positive customer and employee relationships through effective communication.

What You Bring
Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED (college degree preferred), at least five years of clerical and administrative experience—ideally within a government contract setting—and strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and CMMS software. Experience with GSA NCMMS is desirable, and the position requires a US Sensitive but Unclassified (SBU) security clearance. • Required: High school diploma/GED; 5+ years clerical/admin experience; proficiency in MS Office and CMMS. • Preferred: College degree; experience with GSA NCMMS; US Sensitive but Unclassified (SBU) clearance. • Physical ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, lift up to 25 lb, and wear required masks.

Benefits

Compensation ranges from $24.96 to $29.37 per hour, and the employee is eligible for a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, vision, dental, retirement, life and disability insurance, and paid time off.
