About the Role

The Survey Project Manager will lead the preparation of boundary surveys, conduct quality control reviews, and coordinate field and office staff on complex projects. Responsibilities also include assisting with report preparation, developing work plans, providing direction to staff, and monitoring sub‑consultants and contractors. • Analyze and prepare complete boundary surveys using compiled record data. • Perform quality‑control reviews of reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates. • Assist staff in preparing reports, findings, plans, and other contract documents. • Organize and coordinate field and office teams for design and field tasks on complex projects. • Help develop project and task work plans. • Provide direction to staff to achieve project objectives. • Monitor work efforts of assigned staff, sub‑consultants, and contractors. • Supervise Survey Technician assignments as needed. • Apply advanced knowledge of surveying instruments, techniques, angular and linear measurement systems, trigonometry and geometry.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a High School Diploma/GED (associate degree preferred), have at least 10 years of surveying experience, and possess an Indiana PLS license (Illinois a plus). Advanced proficiency in Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, and various surveying instruments and measurement systems is required, along with a valid driver’s license and English proficiency. • Hold High School Diploma/GED; associate degree or technical experience preferred. • Possess minimum 10 years of surveying experience. • Maintain Indiana PLS license (Illinois license a plus). • Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center. • Hold a valid driver’s license; MVR will be checked. • Communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal. • Pass a pre‑employment drug screening.
