About the Role
Daily responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, and washing floors using both light and commercial‑type buffers and shampoo machines, vacuuming rugs in offices and public areas, and spot‑cleaning or shampooing rugs as directed. The Cleaner also dusts furniture, exhibit cases, pictures, chairs, door trim, light fixtures, and performs periodic high‑dusting, washes interior glass, windowsills, and entrance doors, and maintains bathroom cleanliness by restocking supplies, cleaning surfaces, and reporting defects. Additional tasks involve collecting building trash, replacing liners, and removing snow from steps and walkways as needed, with periodic work such as leather polishing, wall washing, and other specialized cleaning. • Sweep, mop, and wash floors using commercial buffers and shampoo machines. • Vacuum rugs in offices and public areas; spot‑clean or shampoo as directed. • Dust furniture, exhibit cases, pictures, chairs, door trim, and light fixtures; perform periodic high‑dusting. • Clean interior glass, windowsills, and entrance doors. • Sanitize bathrooms, restock supplies, and report maintenance issues. • Collect building trash, replace liners, and dispose of waste in approved containers. • Remove snow from steps and walkways as needed. • Perform periodic tasks such as leather polishing, wall washing, and specialized cleaning. • Use portable backpack vacuums and other cleaning equipment safely.

What You Bring
Candidates must pass a background check and may have no prior cleaning experience, but must be able to follow directions, work with minimal supervision, and cooperate as part of a team. The role requires the ability to use cleaning tools and equipment, attention to detail, a high level of energy and endurance, and compliance with COVID‑19 protocols, which may include vaccination documentation or regular testing. • Pass a background check and adhere to COVID‑19 vaccination or testing requirements. • Work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively as part of a team.

Benefits
The position offers an hourly wage of $16.15 to $19.00, which complies with minimum‑wage laws and may vary based on location, experience, and collective bargaining agreements.
