WSP values health and safety, equity, and inclusivity, offering accommodations for candidates with disabilities and expecting compliance with all HSE policies during fieldwork. • Develop and manage noise and vibration field programs, including planning, equipment setup, monitoring, calibration and maintenance. • Conduct background research, acoustic modelling, and engineering calculations to support impact studies. • Prepare high‑quality technical reports, figures and documentation that translate complex data into clear insights. • Design noise and vibration mitigation solutions for major infrastructure and environmental projects. • Lead, mentor, and support junior technicians, scientists and engineers to build team capability. • Provide technical expertise for proposal preparation, client discussions and project planning. • Foster strong internal and external relationships to ensure client needs are understood and met throughout delivery. • Solve field and technical challenges creatively while maintaining safety, efficiency and accuracy. • Apply technical knowledge on‑site and propose practical solutions to evolving conditions.

What You Bring
We are seeking an Intermediate Acoustics, Vibrations and Noise Specialist or Engineer for our growing Acoustics, Noise and Vibration Team in the Prairies & North. In this role you will manage field programs, perform modelling and assessments, and contribute to the design of mitigation solutions for innovative environmental and infrastructure projects, collaborating with leading experts to deliver meaningful outcomes for clients and communities. • Hold a post‑secondary degree in mechanical, civil, environmental engineering, physics or a related field with 5+ years of relevant experience. • Demonstrated practical experience in acoustical monitoring, investigations, and/or modelling for design‑build or environmental projects. • Proficient with MS Office and eager to learn specialized acoustics, noise and vibration tools. • Organized, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple tasks, timelines and stakeholders in a consulting environment. • Access to a vehicle with a clean driver’s abstract and willingness to travel for field assignments.
