About the Role

In this position you will administer, design, manage, and continuously improve leave, time‑off, and accommodation strategies while maintaining regulatory compliance and delivering a best‑in‑class employee experience. You will oversee the end‑to‑end LOA process from initial request through return‑to‑work planning, and you will own the interactive ADA accommodation process, ensuring fair determinations and robust reporting. Managing the third‑party LOA vendor and collaborating with HR Business Partners, Legal, Payroll, Equity, and external providers are core responsibilities. You will also develop and maintain policies, documentation, and process improvements across all programs. You will set the global strategy and execution for all leave, time‑off, and accommodation initiatives, adapting U.S. policies for international locations as needed. Key metrics will be defined, tracked, and reported to senior leadership, providing data‑driven recommendations. Additionally, you will partner with cross‑functional teams to create manager training, engagement resources, and proactive leave support. • Oversee LOA program management and ensure compliance with federal, state, and global leave laws. • Lead the end‑to‑end ADA accommodation process, including interactive determinations and reporting. • Manage third‑party LOA vendor to optimize service delivery and operational efficiency. • Develop, implement, and maintain global leave, time‑off, and accommodation policies and procedures. • Define, track, and report key performance metrics to senior leadership with data‑driven recommendations. • Partner with HR Business Partners, Legal, Payroll, Equity, and external providers on all LOA and accommodation matters. • Create manager training, engagement resources, and proactive leave support in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate has at least five years of experience managing LOA or accommodation programs and deep expertise in U.S. federal and state leave laws such as FMLA and ADA. Experience with global leave regulations, program scaling, and HRIS or vendor management platforms is a strong plus. Strong judgment, confidentiality, communication, and independent problem‑solving skills are essential. • 5+ years experience managing leave of absence or accommodation programs. • Deep knowledge of U.S. federal and state leave laws (FMLA, ADA, etc.). • Experience with global leave regulations and multi‑country program management. • Proven program‑management and process‑scaling expertise with HRIS and vendor platforms. • Strong judgment, discretion, and ability to handle confidential matters. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to simplify complex concepts.
